Special Education District
Macon-Piatt Special Education Administrative Agent
This morning, 12/9/2020, in an official action, the MPSED executive board has named Decatur School District 61 as the administrative agent for the 2021-2022 school year. This vote was taken as a response to the DPS board vote to rescind the letter Dr. Fregeau wrote on June 24, 2020 to the MPSED board giving notice they no longer wished to be the administrative agent.
Our board wished to make the decision that is best for our students and our employees. There will be no employee meetings regarding salary or benefits next week, since Decatur will still be the administrative agent.
I hope you all have a wonderful rest of December and get some much needed rest and relaxation during the holiday break.
